The women of the congregation arranged a most enjoyable Supper Evening as part of their fund-raising for the 2008 WFM Project. This was held in the Aird Community Centre. Around 70 people attended altogether. Donations were requested rather than a fixed price for the meal and the evening raised over £400. Thanks to the women who made the arrangements, cooked the delicious food, and to all who came. After the meal "Na Rudhaich", a young folk group from Point, entertained us with a couple of Gaelic songs and then we had some Gaelic Psalm singing to round off a very enjoyable evening.
