Every year Blythswood organise a "Shoebox Appeal", by which boxes the size of a shoebox are filled with essential items for distribution to Eastern Europe. The appeal was coordinated in Point by Erica Campbell. Boxes handed in have to be checked before they are packed and sent on to their destination, which this year was Bulgaria. Erica had some willing assistants to help her check the boxes at our church hall in Garrabost. Thanks to all who helped and to Erica in particular for her work in coordinating the appeal in the district.
