Having enjoyed a hugely successful evening in Aird Community Centre (see WFM section of the website) with May Nicholson in June 2006 it was wonderful to have her back again with us in August 2007 to speak in our church hall.
Around 40 were present to hear May speak so convincingly of the power and love of Jesus which changed her life so dramatically. The audience listened intently for 45 minutes as May spoke about her life's experiences and especially of the wonderful grace of God which had not only changed her life but had also provided for all her needs since then. With amusing anecdotes interspersing serious and significant points May kept her focus upon the Lord and the power of his love.
May also spoke about the work of Preshal Trust (see link to their website) and of how that work had grown since she set it up a few years ago.
Items for sale included cards made by those attending Preshal and a CD, some of the tracks of which were written by Preshal people.
Most stayed behind after hearing May for refreshments at which they were able to have a more personal time of fellowship with May and with her friend Issy.
